About Sidecar:
The sidecar recipe was first spotted in "Harry's ABC of Mixing Cocktails" by Harry MacElhone and "Cocktails and How to Mix Them" by Robert Vermeire from 1922. In MacElhone's book, the credit for sidecar invention goes to Pat MacGarry from London. Later in 1948, David Embury, author of "The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks) says that the cocktail was named after the motorcycle sidecar that was driven by an American Army captain in Paris.
