Bruichladdich Distillery
Islay, Scotland Bruichladdich is back in business. Pronounced brook-laddie (meaning shore bank), Bruichladdich is back in business once again. The distillery was built on the shores of Loch Indaal in 1881 by the Harvey brothers, Robert and William. The distillery was closed in 1994 until four "free-spirited friends", Mark Reynier, Gordon Wright and Simon Couglin of Murray McDavid company brough it to life again on December 19, 2000. < Previous Photo | Next Photo > |
