Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky is produced by the team headed by Jim McEwan, Master Distiller. This native Islay started working at another Islay distillery, Bowmore Distillery at the age of 15 as a cooper. Later he became a distillery manager and then worldwide brand promoter.
McEwan's first goal was to appoint a first class engineer of making the best Scotch whisky. The team of four experienced gentlemen in Scotch whisky business, they believe in doing business with "straight-down-the-line honesty" approach.
