Bruichladdich Distillery
Islay, Scotland Tall stills are used for distillation, which produce elegant and non-oily whiskies. All sorts of oak casks are used for aging - Sherry, Rum, Madeira, American Bourbon and Port wood casks, in order to try to extract some flavours. As many whiskies in Islay are stored on the mainland for convenience, however Bruichladdich stores all its whisky on the island. < Previous Photo | Next Photo > |
