Canadian Mist Distillery was established in 1967 on the Georgian Bay to meet the demand for a lighter whisky. The distillery still operates in Collingwood, Ontario, using the pure fresh water from the Bay.
Native of Montreal, Harold Ferguson has been with Canadian Mist Distillery since its inception. After graduating from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 1969, he began working at the distillery as a Laboratory Technician.
