Glenmorangie Distillery
Early Day Up until the outbreak of the First World War, Glenmorangie operated as a comfortable little backwater, exporting the whiskies to all over the world, mainly to expatriate Ross-shire folk in the Colonies. By 1896 there were 12- 16 workers during the season (October - May) and 7 workers remained on the permanent wageroll through throughout the summer silent season. < Previous | Next > |
