Ironically enough American Prohibition act of 1920s and 1930s made drinking culture stronger. People enjoyed the sense of playing with fire. Many famous cocktails were invented during this period. New models of cocktail shakers were sold under the name of beverage shakers. Today each State has its own violation codes and alcohol laws regulated by the Liquor Control Board of the State.

It is also prohibited to adulterate, fortify, contaminate, or in any way change to character
or purity of liquor or malt/beverages from that as originally marketed as the place of manufacture.
