Brian Miller was born in Waynesboro, VA but grew up in Seattle, WA. After graduating from Washington State University in 1993, he abandoned his west coast roots and immediately moved East to NYC.
He began his bartending career working in many of New York's popular neighborhood joints, including Benny's Burritos and Miracle Grill. As he continued to perfect his skills he made the leap to more celebrated establishments like Lamu, Bouley, Juniper Suite and Pegu Club. This ultimately led him and his extensive 14 years of experience to Death and Co., where he regularly creates exciting and innovative cocktails.
Recently, he finished consulting on the initial cocktail program at Elettaria restaurant where his passion for tiki drinks inspired the industry in New York City. And this year was named a founding member of the Tanqueray Ten Martini Guild.
His cocktail, The Vipera, placed second in the USA Pear/Imbibe Magazine Pear Cocktail contest and was one of three winners of the Herradura Next Great Margarita Contest with his drink the Rita Hayworth. Please join him at Death & Co. to try his concoction. The bar is open seven days a week from 6PM to midnight, first come first served.
